NOTD #2

Hello darlings :)

For this manicure I used nail foils on my middle finger and ring finger (I got them from eBay) and Kiko nail polish in Mint milk. It isn't very autumn-like, but for me nothing ever directs my manicure :)

I still have some troubles applying nail foils, as you can see on photos, but anyway I find them very useful and pretty.

I used following nail polishes
  • base: OPI - Natural nail base coat
  • mint: Kiko - Mint milk (389)
  • nail foils from eBay
  • top: Catrice -  Quick Dry & High Shine Top Coat

Review: Catrice - Golden Plum-e

Hello darlings :)

I promised this review on our Instagram profile last week, but unfortunately I had so many other things and I am writing this review only now.

Nail polish is from the Catrice Feathered Fall limited collection and it polisht my eye for the first time I saw it, but I wasn't sure if I needed it. But when I saw it for the third time, I just had to have it. It comes in a square bottle with square cap, which is not so practical for holding. The brush is regular brush, nothing special, but I expected the round brush as in other Catrice nail polishes, because I find it easier to use. The consistency is a bit thick, but you can still apply it nicely. It lasted on my nails for 5 days without chipping (with Catrice -  Quick Dry & High Shine Top Coat) and even then I removed it, because I can't stand the same colour on my nails for too long :)

In bottle it looks golden to brown and a bit purplish with a little red and gold shimmer, but on the nails colours go from golden-brown with golden shimmer to purple with reddish shimmer. I read some other reviews and even the name itself suggests that the purple colour should be plummy, but for me it is more on the red side and for me that's not plummy colour, more like greengage or pomegranate colour. It is still really nice colour, it's a shame that it can't be seen on the photo. For me the plummy colour would be darker and more on the blue side. But hey, that's just me :) Even though the colour is gorgeous and really made for autumn and doesn't need any nail art or accessories. It super wearable and appropriate for every occasion.

I got mine in Muller for 3,79€. So if you can still find it somewhere, I would recommend you to buy it and wear it all autumn long. :)

NOTD #1: Black and glittery

Hello darlings :)

One of my best friends was celebrating her birthday, so of course I had to be super chick for the occasion.
I decided that it was time for me to try the sponge technique on my nails. I used my OPI natural nail base coat, black nail polish is from Two way in colour 47 and is THE best black nail polish ever. I only applied one coat and got the blackest black :) Over that I applied Catrice - Two Million Dollar baby with sponge and I sealed everything with Catrice - Quick Dry & High Shine Top Coat.

I am very pleased with the outcome and will be definitely using sponge technique more.
